The mere-woman ran and jumped off the dock connected to her beach house, which happened to be in part of the secluded section of the beach. Sirèna sighed softly as she let her body sink below the ocean waters. She shivered as she felt her scales forming over her eyes and face. She opened her now formed gills and took a small breath, releasing bubbles from her nose. She carefully felt along her arms and legs to make sure her fins has shown up then looked at her fingers and toes, once again to make sure the webbing was fully formed before flipping herself over so she could look down into the darkened waters, making her eyes quickly adjust to the darkness. She smiled softly as she watcher her own private reef.
She quickly swam down and started playing with the fish that was there; the fish would let her catch them and release them for them to hide in the reef and the game to start all over again. The fish and Sirèna played for about an hour before a shadow fell over them, making the fish swim away with fright. The mere-woman looked up and laughed as she noticed the dolphins above her. She swam over to them and reached out with her hands to pet them before grabbing one of the pod's dorsal fin and was pulled along as the dolphins swam and played.
The dolphin she had a grip of all of a sudden jumped out of the water in a typical dolphin fashion making Sirèna squeal with joy before they plunged back into the water. After playing with the dolphins for an hour and a half she said goodbye to the beautiful creatures and slowly started her swim back to shore which took her another half hour.
Smiling as she pulled herself up onto her dock she grabbed her towel and started to dry herself off, making sure to be careful as she dried her face as her scales hadn't gone away yet. She leaned back and watched as the sun began to set and smiled. "Such a beautiful sunset." she said softly. Hearing the sand to the side of her crunch she jumped and turned quickly to the source of the sound. "Oh shit..." she muttered softly when she saw the person standing near her, her scales and fins still hadn't gone away completely.
